La Epica is an adventure, a Hike & Fly journey that connects lands and skies. The challenge involves both walking and flying paths, relying solely on one's physical strength.

Moreno Parmesan, a professional paragliding pilot and Hike&Fly athlete, will leave from the foothill of the Ortles, in the Dolomites, till the Etna - only either walking or flying.

This plan arises after a challenging time in Moreno's life, with the goal of doing something new, never seen in Italy, to find his own freedom and fully enjoy life.

During this journey Moreno will be accompanied by four professional pilots. A support team and a team of videomakers will follow them, too, from the ground to capture their passage through the most characteristic and iconic places of our country.

A professional paragliding pilot and Hike&Fly expert, a discipline that combines hiking and paragliding flight.

Moreno finds out about paragliding at just 8 years old. His decades-long career has allowed him to be chosen for attending the U.A.E: Hike & Fly world final, to be held in Dubai.

Over the years, he has been severely tested by a great challenge that led him to conceive the La Epica project: an incredible paragliding journey, without the use of any motorized means, that will lead him to cross the whole Italy, from the Dolomites to the coasts of Sicily.
