From a passion for flight to his comeback: a continual challenge to overcome every limit and achieve his goals.
Moreno discovered the art of paragliding at just 8 years old, thanks to his father, and was immediately struck by the thrill of gliding. He proved to be a prodigious athlete and soon his passion led him to become a champion.
In 2007, Moreno began his competitive career, starting to collect numerous victories. Among the most prestigious trophies, we remember the Triveneto Trophy and the second overall place in the XC distance competition.
The road seemed downhill: his career was launched, and everything was going well when he had to face one of the biggest challenges of his life.
In 2013, he was diagnosed with cancer and underwent surgery. Ten months later, when everything seemed to be behind him, he began to feel unwell again. His enemy had returned, and it took another four months of chemotherapy to defeat it definitively.
During the forced break, Moreno never thought for a moment about giving up. On the contrary, he decided to relaunch and play the biggest bet of his life: to surpass the world record for paragliding flight.
Talent, enthusiasm, and love for paragliding have pushed Moreno to do much more than win the most important races in his field.
After all, winning a race has never been Moreno's ultimate goal.
HIS PERSONAL PROJECT IS MUCH DEEPER. IT AIMS TO INSPIRE AND MOTIVATE EVERYONE WHO HAS A GREAT GOAL TO ACHIEVE.
Today, with La Epica, Moreno teaches us that anyone can realize their dreams, transforming difficulties into opportunities, and that by uniting the strengths of many people, it's possible to create something incredible for all humanity.
